Leena Lippman correspondence, 1935-1992.

Primarily incoming correspondence to a Hartford, Connecticut piano teacher from her teacher R. Augustus Lawson, from friend Thelma Altshuler Wachsteter, and a friend named Ed. Thelma's letters are very humorous and mostly address the topics of dating, men and love. She mentions in November 25, 1950, seeing Dr. Albert Einstein at the IBM exhibit in New York City. Ed writes about enjoying retirement in Florida.

Leena Cravzow attended Julliard School of Music in New York and was a well known pianist and piano teacher in the Hartford area. She married Samuel V. Lippman about 1957. Thelma Altshuler married the illustrator George Wachsteter. Leena, whose parents were Russian immigrants, was active in the Jewish community in Hartford.
